We call it the BuzzLitePhone because it is so lightweight that you can take it with you when you travel and hardly notice it. Measuring only 5 inches long, the BuzzLitePhone is the Road Warrior's essential companion.
With the BuzzLitePhone, you can place a call over the Internet from your laptop (or any Windows computer) using any PC-to-Phone or PC-to-PC software.

Once your computer is connected to the Internet, simply pick up the receiver and dial, or enter the number via your computer.

The BuzzLitePhone incorporates the latest echo-canceling technology to ensure high sound quality with full duplex input/output enabling 2 people to talk at the same time.

The BuzzLitePhone plugs into a spare USB port on your PC and can be used as an audio device on your PC (ie., speaker and microphone). It will also work with most Internet Telephony programmes such as Skype^®.

The BuzzLitePhone requires that you install a softphone (such as Skype^®) in order to use it. A softphone is a PC application that allows your computer to perform VoIP calls. With most softphones, dialling is done by 'pressing' numbers on the on-screen keypad, or by typing the number in using the keyboard. This is known as manual mode.

In automatic mode, you are able to make VoIP phone calls by dialling using the keypad on your BuzzLitePhone. Automatic mode can only be used with the software provided with your phone.
